Terms of service

Effective October 26, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of GridLane, including the GridLane website, application, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). GridLane is operated as a sole proprietorship based in Pennsylvania, United States. GridLane is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by HighLevel.

1. Agreement

By installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for a company or agency, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Your use of HighLevel is also governed by your agreement with HighLevel. If you purchase GridLane through the HighLevel Marketplace, the Marketplace terms and billing terms apply to that transaction. If those terms conflict with these Terms, the Marketplace terms control for the Marketplace transaction.

2. The Service

GridLane provides grid and Kanban board interfaces for HighLevel custom object records, contacts, and opportunities, together with saved views, permissions, bulk updates, associations, blueprints, rollouts, drift checks, reporting, and related agency tools. The Service depends on HighLevel APIs, permissions, and data availability. We may modify, improve, or discontinue features, but we will not materially reduce the core functionality you paid for during an active subscription without reasonable notice.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must have an active HighLevel account and authority to install and authorize the Service for the relevant company or client accounts. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, for maintaining the security of your HighLevel account, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe unauthorized access has occurred.

4. License and restrictions

Subject to these Terms and your payment of applicable fees, GridLane grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes during your subscription or trial. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, resell, sublicense, rent, or distribute the Service except as expressly permitted by us.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code or trade secrets, except where the law permits it.
  • Bypass plan limits, access controls, rate limits, or security measures.
  • Use the Service to access accounts or data without authorization.
  • Introduce malware, interfere with the Service, or place unreasonable load on HighLevel or our systems.
  • Use the Service in violation of law, third-party rights, or HighLevel’s terms and policies.
  • Use the Service to build a competing product or to benchmark it for a competing offering without our written consent.

5. Customer data and responsibilities

You retain ownership of the data you submit to the Service and the data you access in HighLevel. You grant GridLane a limited license to access, process, store, and transmit that data as needed to provide the Service and as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for:

  • Having a lawful basis and all notices, consents, and permissions needed to process data in your HighLevel accounts.
  • The accuracy, quality, and legality of your data and the instructions you give GridLane.
  • Configuring roles, permissions, blueprints, rollouts, alerts, and integrations appropriately for your business.
  • Reviewing changes before applying them to client accounts and maintaining backups or exports where needed.

Do not use the Service for data that cannot lawfully be processed through HighLevel or for high-risk uses where a failure could cause serious harm. If you need a data processing addendum, contactsupport@getgridlane.com.

6. Plans, trials, and billing

Plans, features, usage limits, and prices are shown on ourpricing page and in the HighLevel Marketplace. New customers may receive a 30-day free trial. There is no permanent free plan. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the paid plan you selected will begin through the Marketplace.

Fees are billed by HighLevel through the Marketplace. You authorize HighLevel to charge the applicable fees and taxes. Prices exclude taxes unless stated otherwise. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or the Marketplace policy. If you downgrade or exceed plan limits, we may restrict features or require an upgrade. We may change prices with notice; changes apply to your next billing period.

You may cancel through the Marketplace. Access generally continues until the end of the current billing period unless the Service is terminated earlier. Uninstalling the app does not by itself cancel a subscription managed by HighLevel.

7. Third-party services

The Service integrates with HighLevel and relies on providers such as Cloudflare and Neon. We are not responsible for third-party services, outages, changes, or data practices. Your use of HighLevel remains subject to HighLevel’s terms. Optional integrations, such as Slack alerts, are controlled by the customer that configures them.

8. Support

Email support is available atsupport@getgridlane.com. We aim to respond within 24 hours, Monday through Friday, but support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis and is not a service-level guarantee.

9. Intellectual property

GridLane and its licensors own the Service, including software, design, branding, documentation, and all related intellectual property. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the Service. If you send feedback or suggestions, you permit us to use them without restriction or compensation. You retain ownership of your data and your trademarks.

10. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” GRIDLANE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE COMPATIBLE WITH EVERY HIGHLEVEL CONFIGURATION OR THAT EVERY CHANGE WILL BE FREE OF ERRORS. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING CHANGES BEFORE APPLYING THEM TO CLIENT ACCOUNTS.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GRIDLANE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. GRIDLANE’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO GRIDLANE FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID ANY FEES.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations. In those jurisdictions, the limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

12. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GridLane and its representatives from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your data, your use of the Service, your client accounts, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law. GridLane will notify you of a covered claim and may participate in its defense.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and cancel through the Marketplace. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, create a security or legal risk, or use the Service in a way that could harm GridLane, HighLevel, or others. We may also terminate the Service with reasonable notice.

On termination, your license ends. We may delete configuration, audit, and reporting data after a reasonable period, subject to backups and legal retention requirements. During the term, you can export supported data using the Service’s CSV exports. Contact support before termination if you need help retrieving your configuration.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to applicable law, the state and federal courts located in Pennsylvania will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service. The parties will first attempt in good faith to resolve a dispute informally by contactingsupport@getgridlane.com.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version and change the effective date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

16. General

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and GridLane regarding the Service, except for Marketplace terms that apply to your purchase. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. Notices to GridLane must be sent to the support email below.
